Akarin perustaja Miranda Saarentaus (kuvassa vasemmalla hakama päällä) vuonna 1977 Suomen silloisen pääopettajan Ichimura Sensein opissa. Mira aloitti aikidon harjoittelun jo vuonna 1972, joten vuonna 2017 tuli 45 vuotta aikidon harjoittelua täyteen! Onneksi olkoon Mira!!!
